The 20th Anniversary Gala Reception will be held on Sunday, May 24th at the Luce Pavilion, adjacent to the Doris Duke Theatre from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm with sumptuous local pupu, complimentary cocktails and local entertainment, all for the cost of $45.

HONOLULU RAINBOW OBAMA INAUGURATION BALL
The Hawai'i LGBT Community unites to celebrate change in 2009 in their own special way!
On January 20, 2009 Barack Obama will be inaugurated into the office of the President. Balls and galas will mark this momentous occasion around the country and the state of Hawaii. Why shouldn't the Hawai'i LGBT community have one of their very own?
The Hawai'i LGBT Community will be holding a very special "Honolulu Rainbow Obama Inauguration Ball" on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. This amazing celebration will kick off from 5pm - 1am at Queen Kapiolani Hotel, Peacock Room. Video feeds of inauguration projected on big screen, heavy pupus, no host bar, continuous live entertainment, fabulous patriotic red, white and blue decor, raffles and special guests will highlight this celebratory night. Dress attire: formal local/mainland. Ticket Prices and Outlets to be announced soon.
Celebrity Tuxedos $44 Tux Rental Special
Net proceeds go towards the HGLCF (Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation who sponsor the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival 2009) and other charitable organizations that participate. This will not only be a night for the Hawai'i LGBT community to celebrate but also an evening to reacquaint and make new connections for the next four years. You don't have to be LGB or T to attend because everyone is welcomed. It is the dawning of a new era filled with change, hope and the dream of equality. Please help us to make this night a success.
